Our company is managed by three Directors and a team of highly motivated senior accountants, accountants and support staff.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and is a Certified Practising Accountant.
After many years with a local accounting firm, a change in scenery saw Justin join BHR Papalia in 2009 and become a Director in 2010. Justin’s focus on quality control sees him responsible for ensuring our dedicated team of accountants maintain the highest professional standards.
Justin is passionate about simplifying processes to reduce the burden imposed on clients attending to their accounting and taxation obligations. His focus on business development sees Justin working closely with clients to identify areas of improvement.
Justin has represented Australia in softball and is also involved with a number of local sporting associations as a player, coach and administrator. Justin and his wife Sheryn have three very energetic young boys, and believe in a balance between work and family life.
Hugh holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and is a Certified Practising Accountant.
A partner since 2002, Hugh provides the overall leadership for the team. Prior to joining BHR Papalia in 1999, Hugh worked as a management accountant in the areas of primary production, manufacturing and construction.
Hugh places a strong emphasis on working closely with clients to allow the provision of financial management and business development services. Hugh’s capacity as external CFO for a number of our clients assists with business growth opportunities, cashflow management and strategic planning.
Hugh has been a member of the the Bunbury Rowing Club since 1986 and was recently awarded Life Membership. He enjoys road cycling and has participated in several long distance rides in Australia and New Zealand.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and is a Certified Practising Accountant.
Brian joined the business in 1994 and became a Director in 1995. As the head of our compliance division for our self managed superannuation fund clients, Brian enjoys working with clients to make a real difference in their lives and has worked hard to help many of them achieve successful outcomes.
Brian has a background in the farm machinery industry and his firm but fair approach is well regarded by his peers. He is on the board of the Youth Driver Development Program and is passionate about supporting local businesses.
In his spare time, his modified Ducati 1198 motorcycle is often seen at Kwinana Motorplex racing down the 1/4 mile track at 145 miles per hour.
